One thing that I love, love, loooove about the holiday season via the web are all the great things I find on my Google Reader and via all the amazing blogs and websites I adore. All the lovely ideas, amazing pictures, crafts, DIY, tips, tricks, deals, etc. getS me so excited for the season full of magic.
Here are some that I am currently lovin:
*LB at Everyday-Dreamer.com has a lovely project called Letters to Love. It reminded me to start writing letters again. I love to write letters and I especially LOVE making cards. One Christmas I attempted to make handmade cards for as many people as I could – I even customized them to make them personal for each individual that got one. I wish I had the time to make one for everyone.
*SimpleMom.net gives you ideas on how to Plan Your Peaceful Christmas. I really love how she gives a new step every week! This is something practically anyone can master and adjust to their preferences and use again and again every year!! I am already setting up a reminder on my google calendar for next year!!
*Barberryandlace.com has a super cool DIY that shows you how to make your own scratch tickets. I think these would make great stocking stuffers or used for contests to win prizes at a holiday party for people of just about any age.
*Doniree shares some beautiful pictures of Fall in Portland/South Park Blocks. Here is my comment I left on her page about the lovely pictures of leaves she took:
This is soooo gorgeous. I grew up in Hawaii so I never got to experience genuine season changes. Well when I went to Georgia to visit family members they thought I was crazy for snapping so many pictures of the leaves. I tried to explain that the only time leaves change color in Hawaii is when they turn brown to die… HA!! These leaves still beat the amateur pictures I got even though I ended up living in Georgia for about 3 years before returning home.
