I was on blogher recently (in between writing this post) and came upon a question about what my resolutions were for 2016. I don’t normally do New Years Resolutions anymore but I like to check in with myself every 4-6 months or so to see how I am doing with what I like to call my New Life Resolutions.
I’m all for setting goals and/or resolutions but I know how doing it at the beginning of every year can sometimes be stressful and puts a lot of pressure on you to really hit the ground running. By creating goals throughout the year (and breaking them up into smaller tasks) I noticed that I tend to get things completed more often.
New Life Resolutions are lists of goals and things I plan on accomplishing in the future – this can be little things or big things. I am a list maker and often break big goals up into smaller goals so I can check in and see how far I am.
I will check back in once I finish moving into my new place with what my New Life Resolutions for 2016 are but the most important things on my list at this moment are:
1) Increase income
2) Finish packing and moving into my new studio
3) Finish getting registered for my courses
4) Create a vision board
